Culross – Fife (Featured in Seasons 1, 2, & 4): Step into the beautifully preserved streets of Culross, which transformed into the village of Cranesmuir. Explore the Palace grounds, used as Claire’s herb garden at Castle Leoch, and visit the nearby ruins of the Black Kirk. This historic location also served as a Jacobite encampment and the site of Balriggan Cottage.
Midhope Castle (Featured in Season 1): No Outlander journey is complete without a visit to the iconic Lallybroch. This 15th-century tower house serves as the ancestral home of Jamie Fraser and remains one of the most beloved sites for fans worldwide.
Blackness Castle – Near Linlithgow (Featured in Seasons 1 & 2): Often called "The Ship That Never Sailed" due to its unique stone silhouette, this 16th-century fortress doubled as the Fort William headquarters for Black Jack Randall. It is the site of some of the series' most powerful and heart-wrenching scenes.
